River City Events SMS Terms of Use and Privacy Notice

These SMS Terms of Use and Privacy Notice apply to text messages exchanged with River City Event Rentals and Sales Ltd., operating as River City Events (“River City Events,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
Our Text Message Service is intended for individual, conversational communication between clients or prospective clients and River City Events employees.

SMS Terms of Use
By opting in to or using the River City Events Text Message Service, you agree to these SMS Terms of Use and our general Privacy Policy.
Definitions
“Opting in,” “opt in,” and “opt-in” mean requesting, agreeing, enrolling, signing up, acknowledging, responding to, initiating or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages from River City Events.
“Text Message Service” means any arrangement in which River City Events sends one or more messages to your mobile phone number, including SMS, MMS or similar messaging technologies.

Consent to Text Messaging
You may opt in by initiating a text conversation with River City Events, responding to a text message, replying START, providing your mobile number and agreeing to communicate by text, or otherwise giving us permission to contact you by text message.
By consenting to receive text messages from us, you agree to these SMS Terms of Use and acknowledge that your agreement may be recorded electronically.
You may withdraw your consent and stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP.

Types of Messages You May Receive
River City Events employees may use text messaging to communicate with you about:
- Responses to questions or requests for information
- Quotes and rental reservations
- Event planning or design details
- Changes or updates to an existing order
- Delivery, pickup and return arrangements
- Event logistics and on-site coordination
- Payment or account questions raised during a conversation
- Customer service and support
The Text Message Service is intended for conversational, person-to-person communication. It is not intended for bulk messaging, automated marketing campaigns or mass promotional messages.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies.
The number of messages you receive will depend on the nature of your conversation, the services you request and whether you send additional messages requiring a response.

Message and Data Rates
River City Events does not charge you for sending or receiving messages through the Text Message Service.
However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and wireless carrier. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier or service provider.

Opting Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying with any of the following:
STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE.
Because this is a person-to-person communication service, your opt-out request may apply specifically to the conversation and River City Events phone number from which you received the message.
After you opt out, you may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed. You will receive no further messages from that number unless you subsequently reply START or otherwise provide renewed consent.
