Hi, I’m Joe, the President and CEO of River City Events!

Proudly born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, I have been working in the events industry for over 30 years. When I founded River City Events in 2007, I had no idea how much it was going to grow, but it speaks to the amazing community in Edmonton and the relationships our team has cultivated within it.

I learned to build community connections from working with my father in the grocery store, which he owned for nearly two decades. When you’re consistently patient, hard working, and resilient, your neighbours will trust you personally and professionally, and that’s what we hope to instill in each and every one of our clients.

In 2026, River City Events moved into a new 49,000 square foot facility on Yellowhead Trail. Come sit back, and enjoy some complimentary water and treats, and our amazing warehouse team will take care of the rest, or check out our showroom for some inspiration.

We are open 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday, or 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays.
